An interaction program on Changing Preferences and Perspectives of Higher Education in Nepal was held at Sandikharka, Arghakhanci on April 22,2019. Dr. Mani Ram Banjade on behalf of NIMS college presented on the emerging dynamics of higher education in Nepal.
Expressing his deep concern over the increasing trend of Nepalese students going abroad without getting proper counseling and plenty of confusions, Dr. Banjade stressed on the need of serious policy discussion at home to retain these students by imparting quality education.
He discussed about several factors that compel students to leave their own country in search of better opportunities. He opined that the perception of society often discourages students to stay in Nepal.
Dr. Banjade called on all the participants to acknowledge the dignity of work and abandon the thinking of menial and superior work.
