NIMS media team is excited to announce that our MBS student, Ms Laxmi Raut, has stood for for the upcoming Miss Nepal 2019 competition. Her announcement for candidacy, as shown in the video linked below, offers very compelling reasons why we should vote her.

Unlike many contestants of the past and present, she expresses her commitment to advance the image and recognition of her town, community and culture. The old town of Patan, with rich history and culture, deserves greater recognition, and Miss Raut’s candidacy for the Miss Nepal 2019 contest is an excellent opportunity to show our love and respect to our town, community and a new generation of citizens who care about our culture and the community.
