I am excited to announce that NIMS College has signed a credit articulation agreement with Australia’s Western Sydney University (Western) last month.
Under this agreement, the NIMS College students who have successfully completed two years or more of the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) course from NIMS College and fulfilled Western’s English requirement, can enrol in a Western Sydney University Bachelor of Accounting or Bachelor of Business, with an expected completion rate of two years at Western.
In addition to Tribhuvan University Curriculum, NIMS also offers the prospective students an Academic and Personal Competency Enhancement Training Systems (APCETS) in order to enhance the level of competency of NIMS students so they can transition into the Australian education system.
We are very glad to bring such opportunities to Nepalese students at home, and I believe that this is probably the first of its kind for Nepal’s colleges to enter into such a credit articulation collaboration with an Australian University.
Currently, credit articulation has been approved for Business Studies students with the possibility of extending the scope to other courses taught at NIMS College and Western Sydney University.
Current and prospective students of NIMS College interested in this opportunity are invited to consult our academic team at NIMS College campus, Kanibahal, Lagankhel, Lalitpur, Nepal between 6:00am to 2:00pm during office days.
