Prof. Dr Brian Purdey, University of Sunshine Coast, Australia is kindly providing a career uplifting training on Innovative Teaching and Learning Practices in Higher Education. Key topics of the training include:

• Creative and Student-centred Learning,
• Problem Solving and Real World Based Pedagogies
• Methods of Teaching and Critical Thinking, and
• Academic Entrepreneurship.

The course will run for a total of 18 hours spread into 12 sessions of 1.5 hours each. While theoretical aspects are presented by the trainer, rest of the sessions will be interactive. All the training activities are planned between Kartik 22 and Mangsir 15 2076 on Saturdays. The training will be held at NIMS College, Kanibahal, Lagankhel, Lalipur.

Apparently, the classes will run in English language. A nominal fee of NRs. 7000 is payable to NIMS College to attend the training. You will receive a certificate of completion after completing the training, which include a signature of Prof Brian Purdey and NIMS Principal.
